About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager for a luxury boutique hotel in Franschhoek. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced housekeeping professional looking to grow within a refined, service-driven hospitality environment where excellence and attention to detail are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Housekeeping Manager with daily departmental operations
- Supervising housekeeping staff and ensuring productivity and efficiency
- Conducting room and public area inspections
- Ensuring all housekeeping standards are maintained consistently
- Assisting with staff training and development
- Managing housekeeping stock, supplies, and linen control
- Supporting scheduling and departmental administration
- Assisting with guest requests and resolving concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensuring all health, hygiene, and safety standards are followed
Requirements
Previous housekeeping supervisory or assistant management experience within luxury hospitality. Strong eye for detail and presentation. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to lead and motivate a housekeeping team.
