Key Responsibilities:
Prepare management accounts, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow statements, and variance analyses.

Complete VAT returns, year-end tax packs, and all regulatory financial submissions.
Own balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all reconciling items are cleared within 30 days.
Oversee income and expenditure controls, creditor payments, and inter-company loan reconciliations.
Lead and develop team members through effective performance management, coaching, and support.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support revenue-enhancing initiatives.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal preparation and financial reviews.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
BCom in Finance (completed).
Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles.
1–2 years post-articles experience.
Strong Excel skills; Sage X3 experience is a significant advantage.
IFRS 16 is non-negotiable

• Strong understanding of project costing, WIP, and revenue recognition principles
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (e.g. SAP, Syspro, or Oracle)
• Strong business partnering ability, comfortable engaging with both finance and operations teams
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving financial accuracy
