Job Description
– Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
– Ensure compliance with relevant public sector accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
– Assist with budgeting processes, expenditure tracking, and financial analysis.
– Support internal and external audit engagements.
– Compile detailed reporting packs and provide financial insights to key stakeholders.
– Strengthen and maintain effective internal controls and reporting procedures.
– Travel nationally to support finance and reporting functions where required.
Requirements:
– Completed SAICA Articles or SAIPA qualification.
– Newly Qualified up to 3 years’ experience in an accounting or reporting-focused role.
– Strong public sector background (preferred, but open to strong candidates).
– Solid technical accounting knowledge with a strong reporting focus.
– Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
– Comfortable working in a structured, governance-driven environment.
– Willingness to travel nationally as part of the role.
