About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining front-end and back-end application components, as well as participating in Agile ceremonies and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end application components
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and delivery processes
  • Engage with business users to gather and refine requirements
  • Contribute to user story sizing and solution design
  • Build scalable, high-quality solutions aligned to delivery standards
  • Identify and resolve risks or escalate where necessary
  • Present solutions to Product Owners and key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards and unit testing practices
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation
  • Support existing applications and contribute to DevOps activities
  • Share knowledge, mentor team members, and promote best practices

Requirements

  • JavaScript and modern UI frameworks (Angular, NodeJS)
  • Python development experience
  • Basic AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, QuickSight)
  • Strong SQL skills (Oracle, Postgres)
  • GitHub version control
  • Cloud architecture understanding
  • Terraform experience
  • RESTful web services knowledge
  • Microservices design and API-based development
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure

Qualifications

Relevant IT Degree or Diploma (advantageous)

3–5 years’ development experience

Proven experience implementing and supporting solutions

Exposure to manual or automated testing

Experience working in Agile environments

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
