Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

  • Promote and sell hydraulic components including pipes, fittings, hoses, valves, pumps, and related equipment
  • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships within the agricultural, mining, construction, and manufacturing sectors
  • Conduct client visits to assess technical requirements and recommend suitable hydraulic solutions
  • Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and sales orders
  • Provide technical product knowledge and support to assist clients in making informed purchasing decisions
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Ensure excellent after-sales service and resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally

Logistics, Reporting & Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and client databases
  • Provide regular feedback and sales reports to management
  • Collaborate with warehouse, technical, and procurement teams to ensure stock availability and on-time deliveries
  • Ensure all sales processes are handled accurately, efficiently, and professionally

Unique Challenges

  • Handle customer complaints and high-pressure situations professionally
  • Work in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment
  • Accurately interpret client hydraulic requirements and technical specifications

Minimum Requirements

Hydraulic Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and applications
  • Experience with hydraulic pipes, fittings, hoses, and related equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and recommend suitable solutions

Experience

  • 2–5 years’ experience in hydraulic sales, industrial parts sales, or engineering supply sales
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Technically minded with strong problem-solving ability
  • Self-driven, motivated, and target-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
  • Computer literate (MS Office and sales systems)
