A leading enterprise organisation within a highly regulated environment is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Owner to lead the strategy, governance, and operational excellence of its enterprise observability capability This is a high-impact leadership role focused on ensuring observability platforms, telemetry data, integrations, and operational processes enable proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and continuous service improvement across complex enterprise environments The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving reliability, resilience, and visibility across business-critical technology platforms Key Responsibilities Define and own the enterprise observability platform strategy and roadmap Drive governance, standards, and best practices across observability tooling and telemetry management Oversee monitoring, event management, dashboards, alerting, and service-level indicators Ensure effective integration between observability platforms and ServiceNow ITOM, Event Management, and CMDB Partner with engineering, architecture, and SRE teams to embed observability into platform and application design Improve operational visibility, alert quality, event correlation, and incident response effectiveness Deliver executive-level reporting and insights during major incidents and service disruptions Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, predictive detection, and operational resilience Manage platform upgrades, vendor relationships, and roadmap delivery Provide leadership and direction to Observability Engineers and technical platform teams Ensure compliance with governance, security, audit, and regulatory requirements Requirements Experience 10 years’ experience within enterprise IT environments 5 years working with observability, monitoring, APM, or ITOM platforms Previous experience leading technical platform or engineering teams Proven experience owning or managing enterprise observability platforms Experience within financial services or other highly regulated environments advantageous Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills Technical Skills Strong understanding of observability concepts including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, and event correlation Experience integrating observability tooling with ITSM/ITOM platforms such as ServiceNow Exposure to Dynatrace or equivalent enterprise observability platforms Knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM, Event Management, and CMDB Understanding of SRE principles, operational resilience, and AIOps practices Exposure to cloud and container platforms including Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Relevant platform or cloud certifications advantageous What’s on Offer Opportunity to lead enterprise-wide observability strategy and transformation Exposure to modern cloud, automation, and resilience initiatives Senior leadership role within a complex enterprise technology environment Collaborative and innovation-driven culture
