About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Winder Electrician to join our client’s mine in Gauteng, South Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment, ensuring the safe operation of the winder system.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment
- Conduct fault findings and troubleshoot issues with the winder system
- Read and interpret winder drawings to identify problems and implement solutions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
Requirements
- Grade 12 / N3 Certificate
- Possession of a relevant/ valid Electrical Trade Test Certificate (Section 13)
- Medium Voltage Certificate
- At least 5 years experience as an Electrician
- At least 3-year experience as a Winder Electrician
- Ability to read and understand winder drawings
