About the Role
Bilnor Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical oversight and supporting the design, development, and improvement of mining equipment and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety requirements, and quality controls across the drilling fleet and all equipment-related activities
- Provide technical oversight to the Buying, Procurement, and Stores functions to ensure correct specifications, quality, suitability, standardisation, and cost effective sourcing of materials and components
- Oversee and support workshop and production teams during the build, refurbishment, and modification of drilling equipment to ensure reliability, efficiency, and sustainability
- Ensure compliance with company engineering, procurement, and safety procedures, supporting long-term fleet performance and operational continuity
Requirements
- BEng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Microsoft Office
- CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor or similar)
- Experience with ERP / maintenance or engineering systems will be advantageous
