About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in Hoedspruit, with a focus on agricultural machinery maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as experience working independently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems, packhouse equipment, and processing plants
- Fabricate and weld components as required
- Ensure all work meets safety protocols and compliance requirements
- Work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Trade-tested Millwright qualification
- Proven experience in agricultural machinery maintenance and repair
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements
- Experience with irrigation systems, packhouse equipment, or processing plants
- Basic welding and fabrication skills
Qualifications
- Trade-tested Millwright qualification (required)
