About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & Stock Control Administrator to join our team at iLembe. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock records, managing customer accounts, and maintaining financial records. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock records across outlets/sites
- Perform regular stock counts and reconciliations
- Investigate and report on stock variances and discrepancies
- Work closely with operations to manage stock levels, wastage, and shrinkage
- Assist in implementing and improving stock control processes and systems
- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely invoicing
- Follow up on outstanding payments and collections
- Reconcile debtor accounts and resolve queries
- Prepare age analysis reports and escalate overdue accounts
- Capture and process supplier invoices accurately
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure timely payments in line with agreed terms
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date creditor records
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) essential
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting / Bookkeeping / Finance preferred
- 23 years experience in a similar role (hospitality, F&B, or service industry – essential)
- Sound knowledge of debtors and creditors functions
- Experience with stock control processes (highly advantageous)
- Experience with POS / Stock Control Systems (e.g. MarketMan / Lightspeed) (highly advantageous)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Pastel, or similar)
