Job Description

Overview:
An exciting opportunity exists for a driven and experienced Account Executive to join a dynamic, high-growth sales team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in expanding market presence, developing new business opportunities, and building strong client relationships within the EMEA region, with potential exposure to the US and APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development and revenue growth within the SMB segment

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

  • Engage with senior leadership and C-level executives to establish and close new business opportunities

  • Collaborate with customer success teams to manage high-potential accounts during the initial 12-month lifecycle

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data using CRM systems

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive outreach, inbound leads, and partnerships

  • Share insights on sales performance and collaborate with peers to optimise the overall sales process

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven sales success with businesses ranging from 50 to 500 employees

  • Experience managing deal sizes between $10,000 and $50,000 ACV

  • Ability to close deals within 1 to 3-month sales cycles

  • Demonstrated experience in the EMEA market (US and APAC experience advantageous)

  • Skilled in managing multiple stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers

  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies

  • Previous experience in an early-stage scale-up or high-growth environment is essential

Job Description

Overview:
A fast-growing and innovative service provider in the tax technology and compliance sector is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join their high-performing team. This role is ideal for a strategic, solutions-driven individual with a background in sales and client engagement, particularly in tax, fintech, SaaS, or professional services environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, market research, and digital tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.

  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships by offering tailored tax compliance solutions.

  • Conduct solution-based sales presentations, clearly demonstrating value in addressing client pain points.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Legal, Customer Success) to deliver a seamless onboarding and client satisfaction experience.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory updates to inform sales strategies.

  • Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, reporting progress and key metrics to the Head of Sales.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales within the tax, fintech, SaaS, or professional services industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.

  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and results-oriented.
