About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg, with a focus on FMCG, food processing, or abattoir industry experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering or process optimization and be able to apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Conduct data analysis using tools such as Excel and Power BI to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes
- Ensure compliance with food safety systems and regulations
- Work in cold or regulated areas, if required
Requirements
- 4-5 years’ experience in FMCG, food processing, or abattoir industry
- Industrial Engineering or Process Optimization degree
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Certification in Food Safety Systems (if applicable)
- Training in Data Analysis Tools (i.e. Excel, Power BI)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Related Field
