An established entertainment and hospitality complex is seeking a seasoned executive to take full strategic and operational accountability for gaming, hospitality, conferencing, and entertainment events. This role sits at the heart of the operation, ensuring seamless delivery across divisions while driving sustainable revenue growth and operational excellence.
You will guide the strategic direction of the complex while leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams. With gaming operations forming a central pillar of performance, the role requires strong commercial insight, regulatory awareness, and the ability to translate market intelligence into profitable operational strategies. What Youll Do
Lead the strategic direction and operational performance of the complex
Oversee gaming, hospitality, conferencing, and entertainment operations
Drive innovation and market competitiveness across business divisions
Optimise gaming floor performance through product mix, loyalty strategy, and customer segmentation
Implement high-performance operating models to improve service delivery and efficiency
Translate market insights and customer trends into actionable strategies
Manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial planning
Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, and cost optimisation opportunities
Maintain strong relationships with regulators and ensure full licence compliance
Lead diverse teams and foster a culture of accountability and high performance
Build strong stakeholder relationships across employees, guests, unions, and community leaders
Drive transformation initiatives and oversee B-BBEE strategy
What You Bring
Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Gaming Management, or a related field
Postgraduate qualification advantageous
Minimum 10 years experience in a similar executive leadership role
Proven track record managing complex multi-business operations
Strong understanding of gaming operations and revenue optimisation in regulated environments
Demonstrated experience in strategic leadership and financial management
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing large budgets
Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making capability
Experience engaging with regulators, unions, and executive leadership teams
