About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Field Sales Representative to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling medical products and equipment to healthcare professionals across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell medical products and equipment to healthcare professionals
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and client training sessions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and key decision-makers
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Negotiate pricing and successfully close sales opportunities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
- Prepare accurate sales reports, business proposals, and territory analysis
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Attend industry events and conferences
- Ensure excellent customer service and long-term client retention
Requirements
- Proven external / field sales experience in the medical or healthcare industry (highly advantageous)
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship-building ability
- Highly self-motivated and target driven
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Valid drivers licence
- Willingness to travel extensively within the allocated regions
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in a relevant field (if applicable)
