About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Group Food & Beverage Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. As a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and a passion for fine dining, you will be responsible for leading two fine-dining restaurants to deliver exceptional service excellence and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations across two fine-dining restaurants
- Lead and develop management teams, fostering a high-performance culture
- Prepare, analyse, and present financial and operational reports to senior leadership
- Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability across both outlets
- Implement and monitor stock control, procurement, and inventory systems
- Collaborate with executive chefs on menu development, pricing strategies, and costings
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Drive guest satisfaction through service excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiencies
- Standardise processes and ensure consistency across both locations
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior Food & Beverage management role
- Proven experience within fine-dining environments
- Strong accounting background with the ability to interpret and manage financial data
- Financial degree (mandatory)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Qualifications
- Formal education in a relevant field (e.g. hospitality, finance)
