About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Legal / Human Resources Manager to lead our organisation’s legal, labour relations, compliance, and HR functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with labour legislation, managing employee relations, overseeing governance and risk processes, and supporting strategic HR initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage legal, labour, litigation, and compliance matters
- Oversee disciplinary hearings, grievances, CCMA cases, and employee relations
- Draft and review contracts, policies, and legal documentation
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and HR operations
- Develop and maintain governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
Requirements
- LLB Degree or relevant HR / Law qualification
- Minimum 7 years experience in Legal, Labour Relations, Compliance, and HR Management
- Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and corporate governance
- Experience managing CCMA matters, disciplinary processes, and HR operations
