About the Role

Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Logistics Risk Coordinator to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations, risk management and compliance activities to ensure the safe, efficient and compliant movement and control of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the safe and efficient movement, storage and dispatch of goods in accordance with operational and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor logistics activities and identify, assess and report operational risks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, operational documentation and tracking systems.
  • Support risk management, business continuity and compliance initiatives across logistics operations.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory, safety and internal policy requirements.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communication to support effective logistics planning and service delivery.
  • Assist with audits, inspections and corrective action tracking to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain operational procedures, registers, permits and related logistics records.
  • Support emergency preparedness and SHEQ initiatives within the area of responsibility.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience as a Logistics Coordinator within the mining industry in security controlled environments
  • Experience in valuable or vulnerable cargo handling
  • 3-5 years’ experience in risk and compliance
