Maintenance Service Engineer – Spartan, Kempton Park, Johannesburg About Our Client The company has a dynamic team and works with customers during installations and repairs to enable their business success. They provide products that require maintenance, repairs, and customer training on CNC machine tools. The Role: Maintenance Service Engineer The purpose of this role is to work on the CNC Lathe and Milling product range, conducting maintenance and repairs on CNC machine tools at customer sites. The position focuses on providing high-quality technical assistance, ensuring optimal equipment performance, training customers, and working within a cross-functional team to promote products and provide excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Possess a minimum of 5 years of electrical and mechanical experience. Conduct maintenance and repairs on CNC machine tools at customer sites throughout JHB, DBN, CPT and PE. Provide high-quality technical assistance to customers to ensure optimal equipment performance. Work within a cross functional team that includes applications, sales, engineering, or production for excellent customer service. Train customers to operate machines to ensure maximum productivity. Act as an ambassador promoting products and work directly with customers during installations and repairs. Document customer machine information and technical conditions and make improvement suggestions. About You Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical fields. Matric or Minimum N3 qualification. Clean criminal and employment record and a Good Health status. Technologically savvy with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience. Experienced in software and file management. Flexible to enjoy frequent travel assignments. Focused on customer service and quality, confident, self-motivated, and results orientated. Machine Tool Millwright Technician qualification preferred. FANUC Control Experience is a bonus.
