About the Role
Our client, a leading consulting and interior design firm, is seeking an experienced Estimator (Interiors) to join their team in Johannesburg North. The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating costs for various components of a project, reviewing architectural drawings and technical specifications, and securing accurate pricing through negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Review architectural drawings, technical specifications, and contracts to extract cost-relevant data
- Solicit, review, and negotiate bids to secure accurate pricing
- Utilize strong MS Excel skills to manage and analyze project data
