About the Role

As a Risk and Compliance Officer at Network Finance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company’s operations are aligned with regulatory requirements and internal controls. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining risk registers, conducting compliance audits, and promoting a strong culture of ethics and accountability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor risk registers
  • Conduct and coordinate compliance audits across the business
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures
  • Drive asset control processes and compliance
  • Support HR compliance initiatives and governance requirements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards
  • Assist with IT compliance audits and related controls
  • Support COID/Compensation Fund compliance processes
  • Identify operational and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor and report on risk mitigation strategies
  • Assist management with compliance reporting and audit preparation
  • Promote a strong culture of ethics, accountability, and compliance across the business

Requirements

  • Completed BCom Degree
  • Experience in Risk & Compliance environments
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles
  • Experience maintaining and updating risk registers
  • Exposure to asset control and governance processes
  • Knowledge of HR compliance requirements
  • Experience with ISO standards and compliance
  • Exposure to IT audits and compliance controls
  • Strong policy drafting and procedural documentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Qualifications

  • CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) qualification or studies towards it (advantageous)
