About the Role

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Lead to join their team in Johannesburg North. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the full supply chain function, developing and implementing supply chain strategies, and driving supplier performance. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full supply chain function including procurement, expediting, logistics, and warehousing
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with project timelines and business objectives
  • Source, evaluate, and manage local and international suppliers and subcontractors
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement
  • Drive supplier performance, compliance, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams
  • Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities within the supply chain
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards

Requirements

  • 7–10 years’ experience in supply chain or procurement within an engineering, EPC, or industrial environment
  • Proven leadership experience managing supply chain teams
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Experience with international sourcing and logistics
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
