Senior Product Manager Payments Solutions
Location: Linbro Park, Johannesburg
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and optimisation of innovative payment products and solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of digital payments, drive product innovation, and deliver customer-focused solutions in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and manage the payments product roadmap and strategic vision
Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging payment trends
Conduct market and competitor analysis to drive innovation
Translate business objectives into impactful product solutions
Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to commercialisation
Drive product launches and ecosystem growth initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful delivery
Lead and mentor product management teams
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Postgraduate qualification in Product Management, Agile, or Business Analysis advantageous
8+ years in product, strategy, or innovation roles (fintech/payments/banking preferred)
In-depth knowledge of acquiring transaction processing (card-present & card-not-present)
Proven track record in delivering commercially viable client solutions
Skilled in product lifecycle management, go-to-market execution, and financial performance management
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA)
