About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Team Leader: Microsoft SQL Engineer to manage a dynamic team of professionals, overseeing the management of their server software, MS SQL, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SQL engineers, focusing on both technical skills and career growth.
Provide technical oversight and guidance on system reliability, architecture, and automation for SQL databases.
Manage all support aspects of our SQL infrastructure, including on-premise and cloud servers.
Ensure high availability and resilience of all critical business databases, including monitoring, failover, and disaster recovery.
Collaborate with development teams, third-party providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service and support.
Manage security protocols, including access policies, risk assessments, and data encryption procedures.
Lead the resolution of incidents and problems, perform root cause analysis, and ensure all issues are tracked to closure.
Oversee capacity planning, software upgrades, and the maintenance of operating systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT qualification.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in IT.
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a technical team.
Minimum of 2 years of experience participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
5 years of experience as a System and Cloud Administrator, with experience in Microsoft license management.
Mandatory Microsoft certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate.
ITIL and CobIT knowledge.
