About the Role
WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a leading player in the South African long-term insurance sector to recruit an experienced Team Leader Outbound Sales. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who is passionate about coaching sales teams, driving performance, and creating a positive, high-performing outbound sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure outbound sales representatives report to work on time and maintain attendance standards
- Process leave requests and ensure accurate leave administration
- Escalate disciplinary matters in line with company policies and procedures
- Drive achievement of sales and QA targets across the team
- Implement performance management initiatives in partnership with management
- Maintain task ageing reports and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Foster a positive, motivated, and productive team culture
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- RE5 Qualification (essential)
- Minimum 2 years’ sales experience within the financial services sector
- Previous team leadership or management experience
- Strong understanding of outbound sales environments
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, and people management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy and reporting capability
- Ability to drive sales performance and quality outcomes simultaneously
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
