About the Role
Objective Personnel is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team in Kempton Park. As a key member of our warehouse and production team, you will be responsible for safely operating forklift trucks, managing material movements, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift trucks (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck – specify as needed)
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring goods are stored in the correct locations
- Supply raw materials to production lines and remove finished goods
- Conduct daily forklift safety checks and report defects immediately
- Maintain accurate records of material movements
- Assist in operating production equipment and machinery
- Carry out assembly, packing, or processing tasks according to production plans
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control instructions
- Monitor product quality and report any defects or issues
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in line with 5S / housekeeping standards
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production environment
- Experience working in manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics
- Knowledge of production processes or machine operation is an advantage
- Valid forklift license/certification
