Tax Administration Assistant R20 000 R24 000 + Bonus Knysna, WCA small, one-man accounting practice which specialises in Tax and Deceased Estates Administration, requires a skilled and reliable Tax Assistant to assist the practice owner with a primary focus on managing income tax function. The suitable candidate is required to possess business acumen and willingness to learn new skills.ResponsibilitiesCompile and submit individual, company, and trust income tax returnsHandle provisional tax calculations and submissionsManage EMP201 and EMP501 submissions and payroll complianceRegister clients for various tax types (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)Liaise directly with SARS, including audits and resolving queriesPrepare and submit supporting documentation for SARS audits/verificationsProvide general PA and administrative support to the ownerRequirementsMinimum 2 years experience in an accounting or legal firm with exposure to Tax AdministrationStrong computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook (Pastel will be an advantage)Excellent client liaison and relationship management skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and under pressureWillingness to work overtime when requiredPatient and friendly, with the ability to work with retired clientsPositive with a good attitude Be comfortable in a small close-knit environment To Apply Forward your CV.
