Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Lodge Manager to support the daily operations of a luxury safari lodge. This role requires strong leadership, excellent guest relations, and the ability to ensure smooth coordination across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lodge Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lodge.

  • Manage and support lodge staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

  • Ensure high standards in housekeeping, food & beverage service, and maintenance.

  • Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolve any queries or issues professionally.

  • Maintain stock control and ordering procedures for lodge supplies.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Assist in financial administration including budgets, cost control, and reporting.

  • Step in as acting Lodge Manager when required.

  • Previous experience in lodge/hospitality management, preferably in a safari or luxury environment.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
