About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CA(SA) to lead our financial shared services function in Midrand. As a pivotal leadership role, you will drive transformation at scale while partnering closely with the Finance Director and CFO to design and execute a forward-looking Shared Services strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-create and implement the Shared Services finance strategy aligned to business goals
- Lead and optimise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets functions
- Define and manage SLAs and KPIs with internal stakeholders
- Ensure IFRS compliance and integrity of financial reporting
- Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and statutory reporting processes
- Drive improvements in financial controls, systems, and processes
- Lead ERP-related initiatives and ensure alignment with finance objectives
- Manage creditor and debtor functions, including credit risk and collections
- Strengthen stakeholder engagement through performance reporting and service delivery
- Lead audit processes and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification is essential
- Minimum 10 years experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience managing large finance teams in a shared services environment
- Strong IFRS and financial reporting expertise
- SAP experience is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
