Job Description

The business delivers end-to-end renewable energy solutions across construction, supply chain, and operations and maintenance, with a strong footprint in utility-scale solar projects throughout South Africa. Duties: Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules across multiple renewable energy projects Track project progress, critical paths, milestones, and deliverables Coordinate planning activities between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams Produce weekly and monthly progress reports for management and stakeholders Identify scheduling risks and implement mitigation strategies Monitor resource allocation and project performance against baseline schedules Support project managers with forecasting, cash flow planning, and reporting Ensure alignment between site activities, procurement timelines, and contractor deliverables Assist with project controls, change management, and delay analysis Maintain planning documentation and project records in accordance with company standards Minimum Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field 5 years experience in project planning within construction, EPC, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects Strong experience using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project Understanding of project controls, scheduling methodologies, and reporting systems Experience working on utility-scale solar, electrical, or infrastructure projects advantageous Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
