About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Midrand, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing water treatment systems, including Ultra-Filtration (UF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to work on multiple international projects across the US and Africa, providing remote engineering support to construction and commissioning teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop water treatment systems using UF and RO technologies
- Perform engineering calculations for pump sizing, pipe sizing, and process design analysis
- Provide remote engineering support to construction and commissioning teams during project execution
- Participate in onsite commissioning activities for completed projects when required
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders
- Assist with continuous improvement and optimization of specialized water recovery processes
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience in water treatment plant design
- Worked in consulting OR EPC project environment
- Strong understanding of UF, RO, pump sizing, and piping systems
