Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Liaison: Greeting customers, answering queries, and handling telephone/walk-in bookings.Service Advising: Interpreting customer vehicle concerns, performing walk-around inspections, and advising on needed maintenance.Workshop Coordination: Creating service orders, scheduling work, ordering parts, monitoring repair progress, and informing customers of costs and status updates.Upselling & Invoicing: Proactively recommending additional services/preventive maintenance and preparing final invoices for payment.Administration: Managing workshop loading, liaising with the parts department, and maintaining accurate service records.Required Skills and QualificationsCustomer Focus: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathetic skills.Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive mechanics and repair services.Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Pastel and office software.Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.Experience: Two years experience in a front-of-house automotive reception role.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.Upsell/add-on revenue rates.Effective labour rate management.Booking efficiency and exit scheduling rates.
