About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Lodge Manager to join our team at Craven Cottage CC in Montagu. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our luxury 5* lodge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of a luxury 5* Lodge
  • Apply International styles of service
  • Implement Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategies
  • Manage property specific management software
  • Practice Financial good practice
  • Manage various booking channels
  • Operate a Code 8 Drivers license with PDP
  • Utilize Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Anticipate future circumstances and plan accordingly
  • Communicate detailed information to others
  • Recognise safety or security concerns
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality and protect sensitive information

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality Management / Leadership
  • Extensive Background in Lodge Operations
  • At least 3+ years of previous experience in overseeing operations of a luxury 5* Lodge
  • Proficient in International styles of service
  • Proficient in the application of Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategies
  • Proficient in property specific management software
  • Proficient in the application of Financial good practice
  • Proficient in managing various booking channels
  • Code 8 Drivers license with PDP
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook
