About the Role

The Assistant B&G Manager is a key role in maintaining the luxury retail experience at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd’s Mpumalanga store. The successful candidate will assist with operational management, team supervision, administration, stock control, merchandising, and guest engagement while upholding the Standards of Excellence and SOP.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in luxury retail or hospitality environment preferred
  • Previous experience in sales
  • Ability to handle very well-heeled upmarket clientele
  • Ability to “sell” to guests
  • Strong guest relations and communication skills
  • Vibrant, dynamic, and organized
  • Sense of style and creativity in terms of visual merchandising and styling of stock
  • Passion for the industry
  • Team-player by nature
  • Strong administration ability
  • Computer literacy (MS Office; Sage Pastel advantageous)
  • Leadership or supervisory experience advantageous
  • Attention to detail and consistent follow-up
