About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter & Turner to join our workshop team, responsible for precision machining, mechanical fitting, and assembly of components for heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine components to exact tolerances using lathes, milling machines, and other workshop equipment
- Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and alignment of components (shafts, bearings, gearboxes, etc.)
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately
- Conduct inspections and quality checks before releasing work
- Maintain workshop machinery, tools, and equipment
