About the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable, punctual, and highly organized Motorbike Delivery Driver to safely transport packages, stock, and branch transfers to specified locations in Paarl, Western Cape. As a full-time permanent employee, you will be responsible for ensuring that all items are securely handled, routes are efficiently planned, and delivery documentation is perfectly maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver various packages, goods, and branch transfers to specified locations strictly according to instructions.
- Verify all addresses and delivery details before departure to eliminate errors.
- Carefully plan travel routes using GPS devices to ensure timely arrivals.
- Properly secure all packages and items to prevent any shifting or damage during transit.
- Obtain recipient signatures upon successful delivery to confirm receipt of the correct items, and maintain an accurate, neat record of all completed handovers.
- Collect payments upon delivery as required, ensuring the correct amounts are received, recorded, and secured.
Requirements
- A valid Code A driver’s license is non-negotiable.
- Proven track record working as a professional delivery driver, backed by solid, contactable references.
- Sound knowledge of local road safety regulations and the ability to comfortably operate GPS/navigation devices.
- Exceptional punctuality, reliability, and the ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor when working under tight pressure.
Qualifications
- A valid Code A driver’s license is required. (Note: Full criminal background checks and driver’s license verifications will be conducted on all shortlisted applicants.)
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: R7,845 per month
- Benefits: Provident Fund and December Bonus
