About the Role

The Community Liaison Administrator provides administrative and coordination support for community engagement activities and stakeholder relations, ensuring effective communication between the organization, local communities, project beneficiaries, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating community meetings, outreach programs, and engagement activities.
  • Support communication between the organization and community members, beneficiaries, and local stakeholders.
  • Assist in mobilizing community members for training programs, events, and project activities.
  • Provide administrative support during community consultations and stakeholder engagements.
  • Maintain accurate records of community participants, beneficiaries, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Prepare attendance registers, participant lists, and community engagement documentation.
  • Assist with preparing reports and summaries of community meetings and engagement activities.
  • Coordinate logistics for community meetings, workshops, and outreach initiatives.
  • Serve as a contact point for community queries and information requests.
  • Assist in communicating project information, updates, and announcements to community members.
  • Support the distribution of communication materials such as notices, invitations, and community updates.
  • Maintain positive relationships with community representatives and local stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized records of community activities, engagements, and communications.
  • Assist with compiling community engagement reports and project updates.
  • Ensure that all community-related documentation is filed and accessible when required.

Requirements

  • South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
  • Matric.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Public Administration, Community Development, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
