About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Guesthouse Manager to join our 4-star guesthouse in Plettenberg Bay, where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional personalised service and high-quality guest experiences. As a key member of our team, you will oversee all aspects of the property’s operations, including guest services, breakfast service, staff coordination, and day-to-day running of the guest house.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee guest services and ensure seamless check-in/check-out processes
- Manage breakfast service, including menu planning and inventory control
- Coordinate staff schedules and performance, ensuring excellent customer service standards
- Run daily operations independently, maintaining high levels of efficiency and productivity
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
Requirements
- Relevant experience in guesthouse management (6 bedroom establishment)
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional personalised service and high-quality guest experiences
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with staff and guests
Qualifications
- Relevant formal education or certification in hospitality management (e.g. Bachelors degree)
Salary & Benefits
