About the Role
Takora is seeking an experienced Intermediate Site Agent to join our team in Polokwane. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of site activities and overseeing the implementation of construction plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee site activities and ensure compliance with construction regulations and OHS ACT.
- Read, understand, and organise construction Plans and Specifications.
- Provide knowledge and understanding of various general conditions of contracts, such as FIDIC, GCC, and NEC 3.
- Utilise advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook skills to support site operations.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license for company use.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Technology Degree or National Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience as an Engineer in the Construction Industry.
- Experience in Roads & Earthworks and Civil Infrastructure Construction.
- Working knowledge of OHS ACT and Construction Regulations.
