About the Role
We are seeking experienced and skilled chefs to join our kitchen team as Chef de Partie. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for producing high-quality cuisine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce a variety of authentic and innovative cuisines
- Support the kitchen management team to ensure the kitchen is ready for service before each shift
- Stay up-to-date with changes in policies, ways of working, and standards in the industry
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and machinery are properly handled and cared for
- Follow standard operating procedures for service to guests, ensuring exceptional food quality is provided at all times
- Maintain accurate kitchen records
- Adhere to all relevant food safety, security, and health and safety policies, processes, and procedures
- Support other kitchen sections to ensure high levels of personalised service
Requirements
- Diploma or other formal qualification in Culinary Arts
- Completed commercial cookery apprenticeship or equivalent
- At least 3 years experience in producing up-market cuisine
- Demonstrated previous experience in this position at a 5-star Lodge/Hotel
- Current food handler health card or HACCP/Food Safety certificate
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Diploma or other formal qualification in Culinary Arts, Completed commercial cookery apprenticeship or equivalent
