About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our Manufacturing Factory team in Port Elizabeth. As a key member of our engineering and maintenance control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct both electrical and mechanical inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on engineering equipment
  • Diagnose root causes of equipment failure and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime and reduce damage
  • Apply engineering best practices and ensure all equipment meets operational requirements through routine and “first-off” inspections
  • Liaise with production teams to proactively identify and resolve process-related issues
  • Execute preventative maintenance and coordinate availability of necessary parts
  • Ensure all manufactured products meet quality standards and compile relevant reports

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric (NQF Level 4)
  • Trade Test: Millwright (NQF Level 5)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical, electrical, and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, SAP, ERP systems)
