Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production department and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee all production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Develop and implement production schedules and workflow processes
• Monitor and analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process optimisation
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products
• Train, mentor, and coach production staff to ensure high levels of productivity and motivation
• Enforce safety and quality standards in accordance with company policies and regulations
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards
• Familiarity with production planning and scheduling software
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
