About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Reservationist to join our team at Central Reservations, based in Port Elizabeth. As a key member of our reservations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage hotel reservations and bookings
- Process customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity
- Upsell and promote hotel services to guests
- Utilize MS Office and Opera systems to manage reservations
Requirements
- Matric
- Tertiary Hospitality Management qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in 4-star hotels
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong telephone etiquette, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and have good upselling skills
