About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Reservationist to join our team at Central Reservations, based at a hotel in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have specific experience and skills that align with our requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle hotel reservations and cancellations
- Process payments and manage room inventory
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and email
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
- Upsell and promote hotel services to customers
Requirements
- Matric
- Tertiary Hospitality Management qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in 4* hotels
- Fluent English
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong telephone etiquette, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Good upselling skills
