About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Site Manager to lead and oversee security services across a large multi-campus environment in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of approximately 7,000 students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the relationship between the client and security service provider.
  • Ensure all contractual security obligations and service levels are consistently achieved.
  • Lead and manage a large security team including supervisors, CCTV controllers, and security officers.
  • Oversee daily security operations across multiple campus locations.
  • Monitor and manage CCTV, access control, and other security systems.
  • Evaluate security service delivery and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage security requirements for events and high-risk activities.
  • Investigate incidents and ensure accurate reporting and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operational and incident reports.
  • Manage staff performance, discipline, attendance, and HR-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and quality standards.
  • Liaise regularly with client representatives, operational management, and regional management teams.
  • Maintain accurate administration and documentation relating to security operations.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
  • PSIRA Grade A registration.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Security Management Diploma (advantageous).
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within the security industry.
  • Previous university, college, or campus security experience (highly advantageous).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior operational security management role.
  • Extensive people management and leadership experience.
