About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting and setting up tools in Injection Moulding (IM) Machines, ensuring production meets quality standards. This role requires a strong technical background and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fitting and setting up of tools in Injection Moulding (IM) Machines
  • Start production according to A-Inst.
  • Produce first-off (better or the same as limit sample), results recorded on QMM
  • Handover injection moulding machine to production once first-off is accepted
  • Ensure Injection Moulding Machines run to STAKA at handover
  • Performing checks and maintenance on all End of Arm tools
  • Conduct checks on safety devices and limits of EAT to ensure all is in good working order
  • Conduct checks on the overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to, including wearing of required PPE
  • Housekeeping, 5S
  • Assist with minor repairs to IM machines, Auxiliary equipment and End of Arm Tooling (EAT)

Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric
  • Knowledge of Krauss Maffie Injection Moulding machines as well as KUKA robots
  • Level 4 injection Moulding setting
  • Injection Moulding Qualification L4
  • 5 Years experience in Injection Moulding Toolmaker qualification or similar technical will be an advantage
  • Overhead crane license will be an advantage
