About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned operations professional to drive operational excellence and lead large-scale teams in a fast-paced environment as our Divisional Operations Manager (FMCG) in Pretoria. With a deep footprint in the FMCG, retail, and wholesale sectors, you will play a critical role in optimizing product availability, driving efficiency, and supporting our company’s growth and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and merchandising plans aligned with business KPIs and budgetary constraints.
- Oversee inventory management, supply chain coordination, and the implementation of promotional plans to boost in-store visibility.
- Nurture relationships with key clients and divisional/regional managers to resolve issues and identify market trends.
- Lead, mentor, and develop large teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and driving high levels of employee engagement.
- Use analytics to monitor competitive activities, adjust operational plans, and improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of operations management experience within the FMCG sector.
- At least 3 years in a middle management role.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and working with retail/wholesale partners.
