About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Pretoria East. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with monthly bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, processing invoices and payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
  • Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers
  • Assist with VAT, EMP, and tax submissions under supervision
  • Support in the preparation of management accounts and annual financial statements
  • Reconciliation of bank statements, debtors, and creditors
  • Filing, data capturing, and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Liaise with clients professionally and efficiently
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in BCom Accounting (1st or 2nd year)
  • Intention to pursue SAIPA articles
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow within the firm
