Richards Bay: Trailer Technician

Job Summary (not limited to) Carry out services to trailers daily, as per the OEM specifications, in addition to running repairs that will come in from time to time. Attend to breakdowns on the trailers when required. Inspection of trailers before/after work is performed, also carry out quality checks daily (known as 15-minute checks) Completion of job cards with correct information as per the job instruction issued. Maintain a high level of technical serviceability of the trailer section by quality work and preventative maintenance in conjunction with the ISO standard. Responsible for timely prioritization of all operational requests, recognizing technical deficiencies, and implementing effective solutions in conjunction with the workshop manager. Requirement: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in this specific field. Must have welding experience Valid driver’s license (applicants without a driver’s license will not be considered) Own vehicle required to travel from home to work. Must reside in the RICHARDS BAY area Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans Remuneration: To be discussed in the interview
