Job Description
The successful candidate will play a critical role in translating business needs into effective technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders across the business and IT landscapes.
Key Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role within a similar environment
- Strong understanding of financial products in the South African financial markets
- Proven experience in the configuration and maintenance of trading systems
- Solid analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Experience across capital markets, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, or money markets
- Exposure to trading platforms, market data systems, or post-trade systems
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technology teams
- Support the configuration, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of trading systems
- Collaborate with developers, vendors, and operations teams to ensure successful system delivery
- Conduct impact analysis for system changes and enhancements
