About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk / Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at HR-Simplified Ltd, a family-run business with a strong focus on services, integrity, and loyalty. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process supplier invoices accurately and timeously.
• Match purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices to ensure correct documentation.
• Capture supplier invoices onto accounting systems (e.g. SAP or relevant ERP systems).
• Verify invoice details, pricing, quantities, VAT, and approval requirements.
• Ensure all creditor transactions are allocated to the correct accounts and cost centres.
• Prepare payment requisitions in accordance with company payment cycles.
• Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, queries, or missing documentation.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices, credit notes, and supplier disputes.
• Maintain accurate supplier account balances.
• Ensure supplier accounts are reconciled prior to payment processing.
• Prepare creditor payment schedules for review and approval.
• Liaise with management regarding urgent payments, supplier arrangements, or cash flow constraints.
• Maintain payment records and supporting documentation.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers regarding invoices, payments, and account queries.
• Build and maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Assist with supplier onboarding and documentation.

Requirements
