Finance Administrator Luxury Game Lodge Sabi Sand, Greater Kruger
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and detail-driven Finance Administrator for a renowned luxury game lodge situated within the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, forming part of a highly regarded South African hospitality group.
This is a key support role within the propertys financial and administrative operations, ensuring accurate processing, clean record-keeping, and efficient day-to-day financial support to the lodge management team. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is highly organised, numerically strong, and thrives within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
This is a live-in position within a remote bush environment. Candidates must be comfortable living and working on a game reserve.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric essential
- Further qualification in Finance or Administration advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years administrative or accounting experience within a lodge environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills essential
- Experience working with digital document management platforms such as SharePoint or similar
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable living and working in a remote, live-in lodge environment
- Stable work history with contactable references
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Administration
- Create and process purchase orders in line with company procedures
- Collate and verify payment requests for approval
- Maintain and update the cash management spreadsheet daily
- Conduct end-of-day checks to validate revenue accuracy
- Update and maintain the daily revenue workbook
- Distribute proof of payments to relevant internal and external stakeholders
Invoice & Document Control
- Scan, upload, and manage invoices on SharePoint or similar platforms
- Maintain organised physical and electronic filing systems at the property
Stock & Inventory Support
- Print stock take count sheets for operational departments
- Capture stock take results into the designated system
- Compile and update the inventory workbook monthly
Systems & Operational Support
- Share EFTSure verification links as required
- Provide general administrative and financial support to the property management team
