Food & Beverage Manager – Luxury Resort, Ghana Our client operates one of the finest luxury resorts in West Africa and they are now looking for a young, dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to join their team. With 4 F&B outlets, meeting facilities for up to 200 guests and an array of outside venues, the ideal candidate will be a true F&B professional who leads from the front, on the floor with his / her team at all times, providing outstanding guest experiences. The resort has a very large discerning repeat clientele so consistency and a good understanding of the luxury guest market is essential. Key requirements · Proven track record in a similar position in 4 or 5 star Hotels and / or Resorts · Prior African experience is prerequisite for the role · Strong Beverage knowledge with ability to create wine pairings, exciting new wine lists, cocktails etc · Must be able to manage a large multicultural team of 50 staff · Honest, very presentable with excellent guest contact skills · An outstanding trainer – F&B staff must know at all times what they are serving in terms of food and beverages · Good F&B business acumen with strong knowledge of costs, budgeting, inventory control, etc · Must innovate and implement seasonal concepts and new revenue streams · A promotions genius ! Creativity and sales and marketing skills in formulating an annual promotions calendar · An Opera / Micros super user · Skilled in logistics and thinking on their feet · Remote / hardship experience a big plus · Communicates well and works effectively with the Executive Chef and the Marketing team · A good mentor Package · Salary up to US$3,200 net per month · Accommodation on site · Medical Cover · Annual flight home · Performance based bonus · Single status only · 2 year contract, renewable STARTING DATE : ASAP Please do not apply if you do not possess the specified skills and experience stated above.
